Randy Denison family

My father Randy Charles Denison passed away 2/25 at 74 years old. He leaves behind two children: Sophia (11) and Ian (9), his wife Vanina and myself, his eldest daughter April. He was born on September 13, 1950 in Lamesa, TX and had an interesting, adventurous life. Would move to Nashville at 16 to pursue a music career, attend Peabody College, and start his tour guide business: Adventure Discoveries International. He would eventually retire in Bethpage, TN where he spent his final days.

He had cancer issues for years now and sadly he seemed to be in denial of it. He did chemo, experimental trials/drugs, and eventually it would progress to him slowly dying. The family is still grieving the loss but now comes the hard part.

He didn't have anything prepared for this exact moment that was soon to come. No last will that we can find yet, no end of life wishes, nothing. Now I'm here to pick up the pieces, figure things out, and help his wife Vanina get things in order for whats next to come.

Trying to find something of use at his house I came across the pile of bills and tax forms. It was shocking to see how little they lived off and it made me sad knowing he used their money irresponsibly. They have had their utilities cut off numerous times. Additionally, he kept everything secret from his wife of his actual health status, his finances, how to do taxes, all important adult paperwork things, etc. Basically put, now is the time to reach out to others to help them feel at peace knowing they don't have to worry about having a roof over their heads and water/electricity while they get back on their feet.

My hope is to raise enough money for the cremation, mortgage, bills, food, gas, any basic life necessities for the next few months. Like other fundraisers I've donated to, I appreciated the update on receipts so I knew exactly where my money is going. I will do the same. Thank you so much for any amount you are able to donate.
