We are calling on our community, family and friends to help us in our goal to support our precious uncle Randy Bronaugh, through his journey of undergoing a liver transplant.
Randy Bronaugh was rushed to the emergency room in November 2020. There he stayed hospitalized for several weeks while he underwent many tests, imaging, scans and a biopsy, to figure out what was making him so sick. Shortly after, Randy and his family got the terrible news and diagnosis of Stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. This was a huge blow to his children and all who love him. Randy is a God-fearing man who loves Jesus and it shows in the way he lights up a room and speaks of his love for his Heavenly Father. After receiving this unexpected diagnosis, Randy and his family have prayed fiercely for a miracle and we have witnessed so many huge miracles unfold as his journey for a new Liver continues. Where he was originally placed on a high dose of oxygen, he has successfully weaned himself off in an effort to be as “healthy” as possible for consideration of a new Liver. He is now currently eligible to be placed on the Liver transplant list, which is a victory in and of itself and has already met with the team of specialists that will be performing the transplant, for an evaluation. He is not ready to give up his fight... the miracles keep coming and we’re all praying in Jesus name his health, strength and perseverance keeps up to surgery day! He has so much to live for! Three of his earthly blessings are counting on him to pull through!
With that said... transplants can be hard to come by when you’re put on a waiting list. There are many that come before you, unless you have a living donor. Randy’s nephew Bear has stepped up to the plate and volunteered to be Randys living donor. Randy and Bear are the same blood type (yay, God) and he loves and needs his Uncle Randy earth bound for a while (quite awhile) longer. Bear is a healthy young man but has about 20-25lbs to lose to qualify as a living donor. That’s why we are asking our community to jump in and #losepounds4life! We are asking our friends and friends of friends... family and acquaintances to join us in our fitness journey to get Bear in tip top shape, so that he can save a life! Share with us your workouts, motivations, healthy eating and whatever brings your inspiration to get stronger and healthier! and we encourage any any everyone to join in from something as simple as walking your dog to hardcore workout sessions! This has really brought to light the need for all of us to be healthy and more active. We want to see all of our friends and family moving to the beat of life and become more healthy for the ones we love! We started this go fund me, as a support for Uncle Randy during his time of need and necessity.
