Due to the senseless actions of the cowards that discharged 12 shots to kill this innocent 16 year old, we are not able to give the juvenile name or other information at this time.  The investigation still on going at this time.

Police investigate shooting that left 1 hospitalized

BAY AREA- Police continue to investigate a shooting that took place Thursday night in the city and left one person hospitalized.

Officers responded at approximately 8 p.m. to a report of shots fired on the 2000 block of S Boulevard at T Street. Officers who arrived there a single juvenile male with at least one gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.

Police turned to the community late Friday afternoon for help in identifying the shooter or shooters.
