I am writing this with a heart that is completely shattered. On Friday, January 23rd, I received the phone call that every parent fears most. My son, Blake, was killed in a horrific car accident in Tennessee. Whatever the circumstances leading up to that moment, to me, he was still my son and I love him more than words can express. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a father, and a person who had a whole life ahead of him to make things right. He had his struggles. Struggles that many of us know all too well but he also had a laugh that could fill a room and a big heart that I always hoped would find his happiness and his way back to peace.
Now, he is hundreds of miles away from his home. As his father, my only wish is to take him back home to Georgia so he can be buried with his family. The cost of transporting him across state lines and the expenses for a proper funeral are more than we can handle alone right now. I just want to give him a place of rest where we can visit him and remember the person he was to us.
I am asking for your help to cover these final costs. No donation is too small, and every bit goes directly toward bringing Blake home, funeral expenses, celebrating his life, and anything left will go to his daughter. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this story. I am grateful to everyone that is willing to help
