Randall's Hope

Calling all cancer warriors!

My sweet brother-in-law has recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. After an incident of choking and a trip to the ER, a mass was found blocking his throat. Many more tests later, and he is suddenly facing the most trying fight of his life, for his life. The mass cannot be operated on, but there is hope that it can be in the future if chemotherapy and radiation prove successful in shrinking the mass to an operable size. Then, he will have that section of his esophagus removed and his stomach raised higher up. It will be life altering, but that life is more than worth it.

During treatment, his throat will close up completely and he will need to be fitted with a feeding tube. As you can imagine, he will soon be unable to work. He has three children he needs to see grow up, and a beautiful wife who is in the home stretch of receiving her bachelor's degree after many years of hard work. She has been waiting for the day she can proudly bring home that first paycheck to her husband and begin to build a more financially solid life together.

I'm asking anyone who is able to contribute to please do so. Anything helps; don't be embarrassed to contribute a dollar if it's all that you can spare. We understand financial hardships, otherwise we would not be here. They're going to need help with rent, food, bills, and anything medical or otherwise emergent that should happen to come up during Randy's battle. If anyone can contribute a helping hand to yard work or other chores in order for them to concentrate on healing, that is also most appreciated.
