Hello all,
First off, for those who don't know me, my name is Jill Eason and I'm a coworker/classmate/friend of Randall and Whitney. This family is very near and dear to my heart. After talking with my classmates and coworkers, and with the permission of Randall and Whitney, we decided to start this fundraiser to help this amazing family out in this time of need.
Here is why:
Randall is a student at Union University School of Pharmacy and a pharmacy intern at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. As mentioned above, Randall is a classmate, coworker, and friend, but most importantly he is a husband and father.
Last Thursday (04/20/17), Randall was involved in a car accident that resulted in serious injuries to his neck. These injuries required an extensive surgery. Surgery went well, but this, of course, required a hospital stay and physical therapy. The Good Lord had His hand on Randall that day and we are singing His praises.
As of today (04/25/17), Randall is still in the hospital and doing great with physical therapy. However, Randall still has a long road ahead of him and our goal is to help lighten the burden for this sweet family. Randall and Whitney will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time and as we all know life doesn't slow down. They still have financial responsibilities and a sweet little boy to take care of.
Here is what we're asking:
First of all, prayers more than anything. I think Whitney has said it best when she says that those prayers are coveted. Please pray for Randall's recovery that he recovers quickly and with no complications. Please pray for Whitney's strength and sanity, as she tackles this new challenge. Pray for Luke as he is missing his playdates with his Dad. Pray for their family as they all embark on this recovery together. Philippians 4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Second, please help in any way you can. No amount is too small and anything is greatly appreciated. If you can't help, just pray.
For those who wonder about legitimacy and are concerned about funds (as I do, can't be too careful these days), noone will have access to this fundraiser besides Whitney and Randall. Not even me. I'm just the messenger. :)
From the Union University College of Pharmacy Class of 2019 and the pharmacy department at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, thank you ahead of time for your help and God Bless!
