Help Angela Battle CRPS

Imagine waking up every day and your arm feels like it's in a bucket of ice. Imagine every time your child touches your arm, the pain is so intense that you can't move. Imagine the air from the ceiling fan feeling like a million little daggers piercing your skin. Imagine every time you roll over on your arm, you are jolted awake as if you've been struck by lightning. Bed sheets, the car seat belt, the shower and long sleeve shirts are your worst enemies. That's what it feels like to live with Centralized Pain Syndrome (CPS) with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) symptoms and my best friend Angela, who is only 36 and a mother of two children, has been diagnosed with it.
CPS with CRPS symptoms is a very progressive disease of the Sympathetic Nerve System and is ranked the most painful form of chronic pain that exists today by the “McGill Pain Index”. Angela's disease is starting spread from her left arm up through her shoulder blade and advancing to her scalp. That is why I've started a gofundme page on her behalf. She always puts her needs last and is too humble to ask for help.
She hasn't had it easy, surving 10 major brain surgeries for Hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain) since she was 21. She has been living in hell for the last 15 years and now we have an opportunity to help her see the right doctors and find relief.
She recently met with a new pain management doctor in West Palm Beach, Dr. Chaitoff, who is going to consult with Dr. Vanni, one of the top neurosurgeons at University of Miami to see if she will be a candidate for one of three surgeries. These are a Laminectomy, deep brain stimulator and intrathecal pump. In the meantime, she is scheduled to have a ketamine infusion next week which will provide temporary relief.
Her insurance will not cover any of these procedures which is why it's my goal to help raise money so Angela can hold her children again without agonizing pain.
Please join me in this effort. Let's help Angela seek temporary relief and get well!
