Help the Ramsey’s Recover from Hurricane Helene

To our friends, family, and community,

Last week, storm surge from Hurricane Helene drove over 5 feet of water into our family home. We could not feel more grateful for the fact that we safely evacuated in time.

There are really no words to describe how it felt when we returned. We lost what we estimate to be around 75% of our belongings, from the simplest things like the art my mom saved from the classes my sister Katie and I took, to the couch we’ve had since I was born.

While Katie and I are fortunate to be able to return to college this week, my parents, Ken and Lisa, are now working to rebuild their lives after the storm.

Like many parents, they have made countless sacrifices throughout the years to give Katie and I the life they believe we deserve. There has never been a better opportunity for us to return the favor.

All contributions will help directly support Ken and Lisa as they seek temporary housing and work to restore their home.
