Last year, we sadly lost Dan, a dedicated coach for the Panthers girls team, after his brave battle with bowel cancer. Dan was not only an incredible coach but also a truly valued member of our community, and he is deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

During his final days, Bury Hospice provided Dan with outstanding care, compassion, and dignity. They also offered incredible support to his family at an unimaginably difficult time, ensuring they were never alone.

In honour of Dan and to show our gratitude for the amazing work Bury Hospice does, we are raising funds to help them continue supporting families just like his. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference.

More information about Bury Hospice: We look after a population of over 190,000, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury. It is a diverse area of six separate and distinct towns, Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Radcliffe, Tottington and Ramsbottom and many of our patients are from areas of high deprivation within the borough. We are regarded as a community asset, delivering the Palliative and End of Life Care needs to many in the area. Our main vision is the focus on early support and intervention working closely with our community partners.
