My name is Mary Dusenbery and I am fundraising for a young lady who has fibromuscular dysplasia . Her name is Paige Blair, 27 years old, and she is definitely a fighter!!! A little bit of back history on her. Approximately 2 years ago she had a stroke and has battled strongly for 2 years recovering from this initial stroke. She has had multiple surgeries on arteries to help relieve symptoms from this illness. Fast forward to now, she has been having seizures. Doctors have tried 3 different seizure medications to control the seizures, however; all 3 caused allergic reactions. The last one was very severe causing dress syndrome. A rash covered her body from head to toe. During one of the seizures very recently, her heart stopped, she flatlined, and had to be resuscitated. She has also suffered another stroke now. Due to so much trauma and stress on her body, her brain has had swelling, and has had to have a procedure done to relieve the swelling. Paige is a warrior and still fighting for her life in ICU.
