Ramos Family Treatment and Travel Expenses

Hello, I am writing today on behalf of the Ramos Family. Asking for help is a very difficult thing to do, so I am asking on their behalf.
Let's start with a little background. Their middle child, 6 year old Bear began struggling with his eye sight in August 2023. Noticing that something was wrong, mom and dad took him to see an Ophthalmologist who was quick to recognize a problem. They were sent to the ER for scans and it was discovered that he had a tumor in his brain. After a transfer to a larger hospital in the area, it was determined that he was in immediate need of assistance. The tumor was pushing on his optic nerve and had the potential for many negative outcomes.
They proceeded with surgery to have the tumor removed. It was confirmed to be cancerous and it was a rapid growth tumor. This left them with two options.
Option 1) Standard Care which would involve radiation and chemo to his whole brain and spine and the extremely long list of side affect that follows or
Option 2) Proton Beam which is very precise and saves healthy tissue (short explanation) still side affects but less
After research, Option 2 was chosen, which meant Bear would need to transfer to a new hospital that could provide the treatment. Early this week Bear and his mom transferred to Memphis, TN for the remainder of their treatment. This separation obviously puts a strain on the family.
With the family divided, they are hoping they are able to schedule some trips to visit the hospital for upcoming holidays and any donations you can help to provide would ease some of the financial burden. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
