Ramon’s fight against glioblastoma

My brother lost his battle on 4-28-2022. We want to thank everybody from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers and donations contributed. It has been a very difficult journey for our family and friends and we want to thank everybody who shared their kind words and prayers with us. At the same time we ask for more help to help us cover his funeral cost. Anything helps and please continue to pray for him and the family. Thank you all.

FOREVER OUR WARRIOR

Hi my name is Selene, and I’m fundraising for my brother Ramón. My brother Ramon is 21 years old and was diagnosed with a brain cancer called Glioblastoma last March 2021, a fast growing tumor. He has had surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, speech, and physical therapy. A few months ago we received the news that his tumor has grown back and also spread to his spine. Within that time, he has lost his ability to move his left side of his body and not being able to walk or do anything for himself.

Ramon’s cancer has required full time care from my parents. My parents had to quit their daily jobs to be able to help my brother. My parents have also made major changes to the house to accommodate his needs including building a ramp for his wheelchair, remodeling restroom, toilet and more.

Any help is much appreciated and would go a long way to offer him the best quality of life during this time.

Mi hermano perdió su batalla el 28-4-2022. Queremos agradecer a todos desde el fondo de nuestros corazones por las oraciones y donaciones aportadas. Ha sido un viaje muy difícil para nuestra familia y amigos y queremos agradecer a todos los que compartieron sus amables palabras y oraciones con nosotros. Hola, mi nombre es Selene y estoy recaudando fondos para mi hermano Ramón. Mi hermano Ramón tiene 21 años y fue diagnosticado con un cáncer cerebral llamado Glioblastoma el pasado mes de marzo de 2021, un tumor de rápido crecimiento. Ha tenido cirugía, quimioterapia, radiación, terapia del habla y fisioterapia. Hace unos meses recibimos la noticia de que su tumor ha vuelto a crecer y también se ha extendido a su columna vertebral. En ese tiempo, ha perdido la capacidad de mover el lado izquierdo de su cuerpo y no puede caminar ni hacer nada por sí mismo.

El cáncer de Ramón ha requerido el cuidado de tiempo completo de mis padres. Mis padres tuvieron que dejar sus trabajos diarios para poder ayudar a mi hermano. Mis padres también hicieron cambios importantes en la casa para satisfacer sus necesidades, incluida la construcción de una rampa para su silla de ruedas, la remodelación del baño, el inodoro y más.

Cualquier ayuda es muy apreciada y sería de gran ayuda para ofrecerle la mejor calidad de vida durante este tiempo.
