Hi, my name is Owen Mahoney. I am 20 years old and a Sled Dog Musher from Massachusetts.

This is one of my dogs, Ramone. Ramone is 4 years old and has been a brittle and fragile epileptic ever since the age of 10 months. Over the years we have had to change Ramones meds numerous times to help continue with keeping him at a positive and alternate comfort level.

Unfortunately we really need help in a recent major incident that has just happened with Ramone. Ramone has eaten a decent size piece of metal that is creating a blockage and mass obstruction in his stomach and his small intestine and he has to undergo major surgery to have it removed. In a situation like this, no matter what kind, I want to do anything it takes to make my little man better and bring him back home, never wanting to ever go down the long and deep path of his life.

He is stable as of right now and is undergoing IV Fluids to be put into his system as he is severely Dehydrated from lack fluids as well too.

Ramone is nothing but an amazing, wonderful and absolutely sweet dog who has the biggest heart of love and affection. He truly is very special and is one heck of a fighter.

As every Sled Dog Musher along with dog owners, know that our animals and babies are like our children as well too. We would do anything for them to give them the best life that they deserve. In this situation, that is what me and my family want to do for Ramone. To get him better and hope he has a positive and peaceful/comforting speedy recovery once the surgery is finished.

Anything helps and anything is appreciated in this situation. Me and my family along with the rest of my pack thank anyone and everyone who donates or even just shares this post about my handsome little man. Please help us bring him back home to be reunited with his family and the rest of his pack that will be waiting on the dog team ready to go once he walks back onto our land.
