On Friday, July 3rd, my family lost the most beautiful spirit and kindest soul, my grandmother Ramona Rojo. After being diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, my Nana made it her mission to continue to do all that she could and fight her very hardest despite whatever negative news she was told by doctors. She constantly was the one to crack jokes and to make all of us laugh.  Even tried her best to speak English to the grandkids who unfortunately did not speak Spanish (including me), even if it was just to call me “estupid girl”. She fought her toughest battle for all of us and all while having the most positive attitude and highest hopes that she would stick around for as long as she could for us. And she did exactly that.

Even in the darkest times and in her last days, my Nana continued to hold high spirits in hopes of getting our mind off the reality of what was going on. Now the time has come for her to finally rest and be at peace like she very much deserves.  I, along with my entire family, are so very grateful to be given the time we had with her. I truly do not know what we are going to do without her around but I know we all will continue to do our very best to make her proud as she watches over each and every one of us. 

Myself, along with the rest of the grandkids have put this together in hopes of helping out our parents with funeral expenses. Any donation is appreciated no matter how small.
