Ramona Anderson was an extremely outgoing, fun loving, smart and vivacious individual. She was always positive, motivational and supportive to the people she knew. Her life revolved around her loving kids and grandkids, hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach, traveling and sight seeing. She has been a pillar of society in the Pittsburg community for her entire life. She worked for and retired from the City of Pittsburg. She attended events throughout the community often such as arbor day, Pittsburg Summer Youth Corp, Seafood Festivals and crab feeds.
Ramona has been battling cancer for the last year and a half. It seemed like things were starting to get better, however the current world wide pandemic has made it difficult to keep up with doctors visits. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worst this past weekend. We found out yesterday 5/12/2020 that the cancer spread fast and considering the amount of pain she was in, it was best to make her as comfortable as possible. Because of the severity of the situation we had to hospice her at the hospital. Luckily her kids and grandkids were able to get the chance to say good bye yesterday, however we did not have enough time to prepare for this unfortunate situation. We are asking for any donations to help fund her funeral expenses. Any amount truly helps bare the cost of her arrangements. We understand that this is a hard time for everyone and we would like to thank you in advance for your well wishes and/ or generosity.
Ramona leaves behind her three children Marcus, Dometri and Sierra and her three grandchildren Alysia, Dominic and Amiyah.
Due to the recent pandemic we are trying to accommodate her funeral arrangements to the best of our ability. These arrangements will soon follow.
