My name is Gabby Ortiz and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my Father Ramon Vazquez. My Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer last month. He had to have surgery almost immediately 2 weeks ago to attempt and remove a cancerous large tumor he has. They were able to remove part of it but were unsuccessful with removing it all. The tumor is taking up a large area and feeding off the inferior mesenteric ganglion. It covers an area that includes the pelvic region, urinary tract, colon... it's a large area. He will start a combination of chemo and radiation in January that will include 35 straight days of radiation where he will have to go daily to a specialized center to administer it.  The clinic is about an hour away being that he lives in a small rural town in Mexico and It's going to be costly. We need to try to gather money for him. But now we are asking for your help because since his surgery he has not been improving, he actually has had a few setbacks and now as of tomorrow he will be hospitalized again for some complications and everything in Mexico has to be paid upfront since there is no insurance there.   

We are fortunate to have my aunt Paty and her husband be there for my Dad for everything, from taking him to his appointments to staying with him daily at his house and helping him with everything since he isn’t as mobile right now  

This has been really tough on him emotionally not only financially because of him losing my stepmom Lety exactly one year ago and us not being able to be with him since he’s in Mexico. 
God willing everything will work out for the best. He has always been a strong man and a man of faith that God is guiding him through this whole process.
