Ramon Johnson needs our help. His health is failing, and most days, he is unable to get out of bed, let alone leave his tiny 250-square-foot studio apartment. He rarely, if ever, has visitors, and he relies on his beloved dog, Sunny, to keep him company. As many of you may know, Ramon lost Navarro a while back, and he was almost inconsolable. They had been through a lot together, including homelessness, and it broke his heart when Navarro died. I don't think Ramon ever thought he could repair the hole in his heart, but Sunny has done just that slowly but surely over time.
The main reason for this GoFundMe is to raise enough money so Ramon can pay his monthly bills, and to have some extra money for emergencies that may arise (recently Sunny needed surgery). He is short about $400 per month and does not have any savings or resources to make up the difference. He can't work, so he needs the help of the community, his community, to step up and help him. My goal is to raise enough money to make up the monthly deficit of $400 for the next two years. This means that we need 100 people who are willing to donate $100 each, and we will have met our goal and made a HUGE DIFFERENCE for Ramon. The money you donate goes directly into Ramon's bank account, so you know that it will go to work immediately to help ease his situation.
Ramon needs to concentrate on his health. He does not need the extra worry of not having enough money each month to meet his very lean monthly expenses. He only brings in $1,000 per month but has monthly bills of approx. $1400. He has already cut everywhere that he can. It's amazing to me that he has been able to survive up to now. There have been a few people who have lent Ramon money when he needed it, and Ramon ALWAYS has paid the money back on the day that he said he would. But this is no way to live. He uses money from the current month to pay back the money he borrowed from the previous month, so it's a vicious cycle.
Please help break this cycle and give Ramon some peace of mind.
