Ramiro Torres' Memorial Fund

On Monday, September 13, 2021, at approximately 5:30 pm, my mother received the news from Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Ca. The nurse gave the heartbreaking news that my father, Ramiro Torres, had just passed.

Ramiro was a brother, a husband, a grandpa, and a friend when his life was taken by

the COVID-19 Virus. My father was originally from Zacatecas, Mexico where left his family behind to pursue a better life for himself and for his future family to come. When he came to Pasadena is where he met my mother and created a family, my family. Ramiro was loved and admired by many. He has impacted not just my family and I, but the community he would surround himself with. He was the most absolute respectful, patient, reliable, and caring individual. My Father took pride in everything that he loved. Even when there were many odds against him, from when he lost his job during this pandemic or when he was supposed to get surgery this upcoming October. But no matter what the circumstance was he remained strong and continued to have a smile on his face because my father loved the life he was living.

My family and I would deeply appreciate any kind of support, prayer, or donation to help ease our grief and prepare us for our new chapter of life. The sole purpose is to give my father the proper burial and funeral service he deserves. I will ensure my father that he will be put to rest with the same love he had given us. My family and I are open to any and all assistance and support
