Ramini Mozzarella’s Next Era

Donation protected
I have been in love with Ramini Mozzarella for close to 5 years now. After moving back home from college, I picked up the same job I had moved away from and was left longing for an experience that harmonized better with my heart-song. I happened to know someone who worked for this special operation and before I knew it I started my very unexpected yet fateful journey into the world of female-operated, animal LOVING, humane, small-business ranching! I would work under an inspirational woman named Audrey Hitchcock (Ramini Mozzarella owner), meet other inspirational women who supported her cause, and take care of FREAKING WATER BUFFALOES (and help along the creation of traditional Mozzarella cheese).

The business hasn’t seen ease for most of its life. First with the start-up hiccups, then partnership speed bumps, Craig’s passing from brain cancer, the ongoing struggle of minimal employee support, drought, fires, the pandemic, and the list goes on. One factor has hurt the business more than all else though, and it is the pushing force that is booting us off property come October. This is a done deal and the clock is ticking for us to find a new home for our approximately 100 water buffaloes. There are prospects though no guarantees.

What we are asking for: funds to navigate the unpredictable. Sonoma County property is expensive as are milking barns, the reconstruction of a creamery, hauling costs for our animals, hay for our animals, etc.

I have recently cut my hours and have taken some of Audrey’s time away from her search and money making projects so I want to help where I can.

The way Ramini Mozzarella is run is revolutionary and we haven’t even reached our full potential. There’s so much room to give your animals a more fruitful life and bring that love into your product and customer experience, and Ramini is example of that.

Please watch the documentary just released on this business if you haven’t already and PLEASE SHARE. Any donations go towards keeping these animals together, with their babies, with Audrey, and with Ramini Mozzarella.
