My name is Audrey Montgomery Gardes and I am fundraising for Jason Joens and his family.

Jason was a member of Cornell Colleges Campus Safety team and unfortunately, due to many injuries, has had to leave Cornell. His love for students, staff and the college is undeniable. Whether it was a volleyball game, homecoming, casino night, or the big event, you would see Jason there cheering the students on. He was and still is one of the biggest Cornell Rams supporter.

On August 12th, 2025, Jason suffered from a stroke in his brain stem, paralyzing the left side of his body. Since then, he has been able to, with lots of energy, move a finger or two slightly and use a walker to move short distances. With your generosity, we can help alleviate some of the monetary stress and help Jason focus on getting better.
