Un groupe incroyable de rameuses, ayant toutes traversé le combat contre le cancer du sein, s’apprête à participer à une prestigieuse course d’aviron à Boston : LA HEAD OD THE CHARLES REGATTA.

Leur courage et leur détermination sont une véritable source d’inspiration !

Pour les aider à réaliser ce défi et couvrir les frais de cette aventure, une cagnotte en ligne a été créée. Chaque petit geste compte pour leur permettre de franchir la ligne d’arrivée ensemble. ‍♀️

Since 2017, the Cercle de l'Aviron de Lyon has hosted a Health Rowing section dedicated to supporting individuals affected by various types of cancer. While many have survived the disease, others are still fighting their battles. To support them, the Health Rowing Group offers many safe and suitable physical activities to boost their confidence, self-esteem, and mental health, providing them with the opportunity to discover their strengths in rowing. Each year, members of the Group set ambitious rowing goals, and this year, our Group has been invited to compete in the inaugural international race for women battling cancer at the world-renowned Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston.

This groundbreaking event will feature 11 boats from the United States and Europe, with a total of 88 rowers. Our Group of brave women will proudly symbolise a significant victory over cancer. Due to logistical constraints, however, we cannot bring our boat and oars, so we will need to rent equipment on-site and cover our entry fees to participate in this historic Health Rowing race. Please help us raise the necessary funds to make this possible. We cannot stress how important this is for our Group and our battle against cancer, both physically and mentally.
