Please Help My Sweet Boy Rambo

Hi, my name is Jessi, and I’m writing this with a broken heart.

This is somewhat uncomfortable for me because I’ve never come on the internet and asked anyone for anything—other than maybe prayers. But right now, I feel like I have to, because my dog Rambo needs help, and I can’t do this alone.

A couple of days ago, I took him to the vet for what I thought was simple bloating, but it turned out to end up needing a hospital visit that same night. We then found out that his heart was completely enlarged, and he was suffering from congestive heart failure. We don’t know the reason, but we do know that he needs to see a specialist.

Rambo—my best friend, my shadow, my everything—has just been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He’s only 8 years old, and I’m not ready to imagine life without him. Rambo has been with me through the hardest chapters of my life. He’s the one who’s been there when no one else was, always with those gentle eyes and that tail that somehow still wagged no matter what we were facing.

Right now, we’re doing all we can to help him, but it’s overwhelming. We’re waiting for an appointment with a heart specialist a few hours away, hoping for more answers and a treatment plan that gives him the comfort and time he deserves. But between the vet visits, medications, tests, and travel, the costs are adding up faster than I can handle on my own.

I understand that times are tough for everyone right now, and asking for help isn’t easy. But even the smallest donation can make a huge difference for Rambo. Every dollar will go directly toward his care and give him a better chance at staying by my side a little longer.
