My name is Mike. For the past eight years, I’ve been working for a fantastic owner (Morgan) of a wedding/event venue business. The location was a one of kind hill country venue where so many people have created so many lasting great memories.
Her wedding venue won Wedding Wires Brides Choice Award 9 years in a row! The Knot Hall of Fame several years in a row. She’s a proven success!
Last year the location went on the market for sale and her efforts to purchase the property were denied.
Morgan is so honest, caring and a fun individual. She hoped to buy the property to continue her mission that started over ten years ago. Her intent when she rented this space was to eventually own the property and therefore she invested a lot of her money, time, sweat, tears, and heart into making this an incredibly special space.
Morgan was mistreated and even after being dealt a tough hand, she is continuing her work and she is not giving up. She has decided to rebuild just steps away from the old venue where she owns acreage behind the former venue. There again, she is creating an intimate outdoor living space that should bring more memorable moments for future brides. She’s recycled so many materials including stones and lights and has put in place the groom’s cabin and soon a bridal suite.
Morgan has maintained her integrity. She’s willingly refunded monies from contracts for events that were previously booked at the rental property. Refunds and new location expenses are emptying the bucket of coins.
The groom’s cabin and bridal suite needs to be finished out. There’s a builder that needs to be hired to help create the arena space for an open air structure and other landscaping greenery that too will bring additional costs.
Morgan’s creativity and people to help make this new venture a reality is not lacking. What is needed are the funds to keep this love and passion going. If I could front this cost myself I would because I confidently believe in Morgan and her dreams of making people’s weddings an amazingly special day. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money. This is where I am soliciting your help.
