Ella's Bat Mitzvah Project

Tax deductible
Hi I'm Ella Breskal and I'm raising money for Camp Ramah in California's Ezra program as my bat mitzvah project.

In Hebrew, ezra means to help. At camp, the term ezra is used as a way to show the help and care people express towards kids with special needs. The Ezra program at Ramah is a program for kids with special needs to learn life skills and to create friendships that will last a lifetime. I am raising money so that they can create a room where they can learn some of those basic life skills like cooking and laundry, so that they can learn how to be independent.

Camp Ramah is all about community, and what makes their community so incredible is the diverse group that takes part in it. I decided to choose a charity/organization that would connect the place where I made some of my closest friends, and special needs. My brother, who has Autism, doesn't have the friendships that some of my friends that take part in the Ezra project have created. One of my favorite parts of Ramah is just seeing those incredible people walk past us with their bright smiles, excitedly talking with their friends.

I would really appreciate it if you would take part in my bat mitzvah project and donate to this incredible cause, and I'm sure that my friends that take part in the Ezra program feel the same way.

Thanks, Ella
