I was born in Albania, and no matter where life has taken me, I have always carried a deep connection to the country where I was born. For years, I have wanted to give back in a meaningful and structured way.

This Ramadan marks the beginning of that commitment.

I am currently working toward establishing a nonprofit initiative focused on supporting vulnerable individuals in Albania, particularly women facing domestic abuse and difficult family circumstances. While that long-term project is still being developed, this Ramadan fundraiser will serve as the first step: supporting families in immediate need with essential food assistance.

Ramadan is a blessed month — a time of compassion, generosity, and unity. During this time, no family should have to worry about putting basic food on the table.

With your support, we aim to assist at least 50 families. If we raise more than our initial goal, we will expand support to additional areas where the need is urgent and verified.

Distribution Update

Due to unexpected scheduling inconveniences, I will now be traveling to Albania during the first week of April to personally organize the purchase and distribution of the food packages together with trusted volunteers on the ground.

While the timing has shifted slightly, the mission remains exactly the same: making sure families who are struggling receive meaningful support.

Transparency

Transparency is extremely important to me. Throughout this initiative I will provide:

Receipts for purchases

Documentation of the distribution (while protecting the dignity and privacy of the families)

Funding Goals

€2,000 minimum goal

This will allow us to begin providing essential food packages to families in need in the Central Albanian region.

€5,500 goal

We will fully fund food packages for 50 families.

€7,500 or more

We will either:

Increase the value of each package (adding meat vouchers or additional essentials), or

Expand support to more families beyond the initial 50.

Our priority is simple:

More funds = more families supported.

What Each Food Package Will Include

Each family package (approximately €100 in value, depending on local prices) will include essential staples such as:

Flour

Rice

Cooking oil

Sugar

Pasta

Beans or lentils

Dates

Meat
