Ramadan Fundraiser for Afghanistan

Asalaamalaykum,

With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, 9 million Afghans are at risk of starvation. Afghanistan is already one of the most impoverished nations in the world and for this reason, my family and I are hoping to collect funds in order to purchase food and other necessities to donate to families in need in our home village in Logar, Baghlan, and Kabul. These necessities will include oil, flour, rice, sugar, and meat. This year, inshaAllah, we're hoping to deliver the funds and supplies in person. We are committed to being one hundred percent transparent about where exactly the donations will go and who will benefit from the funds. Photographs and videos will be provided in order to ensure that the donations will be going to those in dire need of assistance. In the past, through previous fundraisers, we've been able to assist orphans, widows, and many households without a single breadwinner. Now Afghanistan needs your help more than ever.
