Salaam dear Brothers and Sisters. By the will of Allah SWT, the *Aid Convoy Team* are carrying out their Ramadan Aid Collection for refugees in Calais. We will be assisting the *Refugee Community Kitchen* and *Calais Food Collective* by funding the purchase of bulk food items to cook and serve warm iftars to the *thousands of refugees* stranded in Calais and Dunkirk, many of which are women and children.
We also hope to purchase *halal meat* to enable the RCK team to cook an Eid meal for the blessed days of Eid insha'Allah.
We made our first trip in June 2018 (pictures below) where we saw first hand the inspirational work of the Refugee Community Kitchen in Calais. Since then we have supported this cause and by the Grace of Allah SWT have raised over £100,000.

These refugees, many of them formerly of the Calais ‘Jungle’, are displaced migrants, living rough and desperately in need of basic necessities such as water, food and shelter.
*And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, (saying), "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. (76:8-9)*
Donations received by 12th May will help us to make purchases in good time. 100% of donations go towards the cause.
