Today We sit and hold hands while we watch our father.. brother, grandfather, uncle, best friend, protector and hero fight a battle he did not see coming.. He lays in a hospital bed with tubes machines, and medical science aiding him in this battle, but only so much can be done... his mind and spirit are there, fighting in the darkness, climbing to the mountain peak were the sun light brings strength to his soul.. that light is Us.. when you are here, your family, your friends, even strangers are present to lift you up in times of crisis.. My father is battling stage 4Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, with multiple complications and it’s going to be a long battle.. unable to work or provide for his youngest boy will be just one of the many obstacles he will face in a road of recovery.. this is the greatest war he has.. or perhaps will ever face.. He holds on to his life in the barracks, praying, hoping, waiting for angels to fly in and guide him safely home to his family.. Home to Us.
You can be that hope. You can be an angel, that reinforcement in this struggle.. God gave us the greatest gift of all... the gift of love, compassion, the gift to place our hearts and minds beyond the stars, the gift of altruism.. My father gave to others his whole life, he is one of the most selfless human beings We know.

He gave to others even when he did not have, he gave his friendship, his loyalty, his love. He is a mentor, a gentleman, a man of honor..who is a father to those with no father, brother to those with no brother. He was the Go Fund Me in a time when there was no Go Fund Me... and today We call upon everyone he has ever made an impact on, everyone who knows who this noble man is, and anyone who hears our call and has faced the storm that is cancer.

Sadly my father lost his battle with this illness and thanks to all the beautiful friends and family that gave ! It helped us to give him a beautiful farewell and proper funeral and burial where hundreds of friends and family came to pay there respects and love they had for our father. Dad you are now a angel in heaven watching over all of us RIP
