Hello,

We are urgently trying to medivac (fly) mom (Terri McQuaid) home to St. Louis from Duluth with a full medical team to allow her the chance to pass peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

The story - Mom has been battling stage 4 ovarian cancer since Christmas 2024. She wanted to visit Alaska to see moose and wildlife. We couldn't make that happen as we needed to be within driving distance. The oncologist and team all gave the green light to travel by vehicle as long as we split the trip into two legs each way, telling us now was the time to go, she wouldn't get another chance. So the girls set off for Ely, Minnesota on September 9th. Things went downhill fast on the 12th, and we called EMS to take her to the hospital for a possible stroke. Things escalated again, and she was transferred to Duluth for a higher level of care.

Through the wonderful network of friends and family, we've been working to medivac her home, but insurance won't cover any of it. Even with friends, we are looking at a $25,000 bill that has to be paid up front.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
