Ralph J. Bunche High School is a high school in West Oakland dedicated to empowering youth who have historically existed on the margins of our traditional education system.  Through the year we've worked hard to build community, leverage our strengths and grow academically and socially, what better way to celebrate that growth than a camping trip?

Students will track animals, identify native plant species, construct debris shelters and practice many other survival skills while building community in the wilderness.  

Your donations will be used to purchase food, transportation and campsites at Botano State Park for our trip May 29-31.  We will close donations May 22nd a week before our trip.  

Camping in the Golden State can be quite expensive between supplies, campsites and food your contribution will ensure our youth get to enjoy all of the luxuries their state has to offer.
