My name is Kimberlee and I have a co-worker in need. Ralph Hammond is a contractor, working with my team. He recently found out that he has cancer (Squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue / lymph nodes) and will have to undergo gene therapy to shrink the tumor and then have surgery to remove it. While he is in recovery, he will not be able to work, hence he will not have any pay during this period. I am trying to raise money to help him pay rent, buy groceries, & pay for basic utilities during this time. Because he is a contractor, his company will not receive pay for him while he is in recovery, and since Tennessee is a Right-To-Work state, his employer could let him go without any reason. Ralph is one of the kindest people I have ever met - he lives very frugal, yet always donates to other causes and volunteers his time to help others. Ralph has repeatedly given, and now it is his time to receive.
