In February 2026, my mom (Suzette Westerman) was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. This wasn’t exactly a shock to us since she had been frequently monitored for the past few years. However, getting the news that she may go home with hospice care when she had a major bowel blockage was devastating. Through the prayers of all her friends and family (YOU), and by the grace of God, her condition took a positive turn, and now she is receiving chemotherapy and resting at home with hope.
The hospital stays, the tests, the chemotherapy, and the inability to work at this time have caused a financial burden for her. Due to the nature and progression of her current condition, she is not working. We would like her to focus on restoring her body, finding peace in the truth, and resting her mind to heal.
If you feel inclined to give, even the smallest amount could help! She has dedicated much of her life to responding to and saving people in their vulnerable time of need as a paramedic. She now needs help and support to triumph through this difficult time.
With all of our love and prayers (especially for me when she finds out that I did this), thank you from all of her family.
