Support for the Meyer Family After the Sudden Loss of Chris
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of Chris Meyer, a vibrant and beloved 40-year-old husband, father, son, brother, friend and coach. Chris was the heart of his family and a bright light in our community. He was a joyful, gregarious spirit whose laughter and warmth made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
Chris leaves behind his loving wife, Celina and their two sons, Brandon and Dylan. His family was the center of his world and his sudden passing has left this young family reeling with immense grief.
The Meyers are a family known for their kindness, generosity, and service to others. Whether volunteering, supporting family and friends, or helping neighbors, they’ve always shown up. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.
Chris was deeply involved in his sons’ lives and their passions. He was a proud member of the football and basketball coaching staff at St. Michael’s High School, supporting his boys on the field, court and in life. Chris built lasting relationships and mentored many young athletes. Whether he was cheering on the sidelines, offering guidance, or just cracking a joke, Chris was a pillar in the community and a role model to many.
He was more than a friend, he was a brother to so many. His circle of loved ones stretches wide, a testament to the kind of man he was: someone who made everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.
We are raising funds to help support Celina, Brandon, and Dylan during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will help cover funeral expenses, daily living costs, and provide a bit of stability as they begin to navigate life without Chris.
If you are able, please consider donating. Every gesture, big or small, is a reminder to the Meyers that they are not alone and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping honor Chris’s memory and for standing with this beautiful family in this time of heartbreak.
