Rallying for Ryan from Red Canyon Cafe

In January of 2023 our dear friend Ryan Murray, owner of Red Canyon Cafe was diagnosed with a fairly rare, but very aggressive small intestine cancer. He is unable to work and is receiving chemotherapy treatments. Ryan is "fighting the fight" right now. Please send him and his family good vibes and tons of love.

Ryan has spent the last 16 years crafting our coffees, slinging our sandwiches and sending us on our way with a smile that lasted all day. Ryan always made you feel like you were his favorite customer. Not only does he keep this community caffeinated and fed, but he is also a loving husband and an even more loving dad.

Now more than ever, Ryan, his beautiful wife Sarah and 3 handsome sons, Alec(17), Owen(16) and Issac(14) need our help. Alec is finishing his senior year of high school and will be attending Emberly Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona for Aerospace Engineering. Owen is an A+ student, focusing on track and field, speech and debate and leadership skills. He has also earned a black belt in karate. Issac will be going into 9th grade loving everything having to do with Lore and Magic. Sarah has been a staple in our children's lives working at Red Hill Elementary and Gypsum Creek Elementary as the gifted and talented teacher. She is also a professional coach to her colleagues.
