Rallying for Robin H.

As you are making your holiday shopping and charity lists, please consider helping my friends Robin and Doug this year.

 

Doug and Robin have a storybook romance.  These two are inseparable and very much each other’s best friends. 27 years of marriage and you’d think they were newlyweds. 

 

2019 has been incredibly hard on them both.  While Doug’s Mom was battling cancer, Robin started having some serious health issues. Robin has been a very healthy person her entire life, so all of the doctor’s visits, invasive tests, and procedures were very scary to her.  During this time, Doug was doing his best to be in two places at once.  He needed to hold his mom’s hand while holding his wife’s hand too.

 

Robin continued to get sicker and in more pain…..then she received the terrifying news that she had stage 4 colorectal cancer.  Doug’s Mom passed away the day before Robin's first chemo treatment. What a heavy burden for them to bear.

 

Robin has been a trooper, so very positive through it all and is a determined fighter. That fight includes radiation treatments 5 days a week and a chemotherapy pill that costs over $1,000.00 each month.

 

As you can imagine, this year has been emotionally, physically, and financially draining for them.  Please consider making a donation to assist with medication and treatment costs.  Let’s help ease their burden in any way we can and let’s help Robin win this fight.
