Rallying for Mom: Assistance Needed During Her Breast Cancer

My name is Kara, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My 75-year-old mom, Candy, is struggling. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then her world has been turned upside down.
My mom has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else first — always caring for others, never asking for anything in return. Now, she’s facing a battle that no one should have to face alone.
The treatments have been grueling — rounds of chemotherapy, countless doctor visits, medications, and now radiation therapy. Each step forward has come with new physical and emotional challenges. What’s breaking her spirit even more is the overwhelming cost of her care. Despite her strength and determination, the medical bills are piling up faster than she can manage.
At her age, she lives on a fixed income, and it simply isn’t enough to cover what insurance won’t. Watching her worry about money while she’s trying to fight for her life is unbearable. Especially knowing her main worry is that she will lose her home. She said if it were up to her, she would wish to die in her home when that time comes.
I’m asking for help — any amount you can give — to ease her burden and allow her to focus on healing, not on bills. Your donation will go directly toward her medical expenses, treatments, and essential living costs as she continues this difficult journey.
Every prayer, share, and dollar means more than we can ever express. My mom is a fighter, and never asks for help. Please help us give her the peace and care she deserves in this battle against breast cancer.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and compassion.
