Team Barry,

For those of you who have not yet heard, one of our own, Mariann Hunnicutt, suffered a catastrophic loss of her home following the flooding over the weekend. Mariann had to be evacuated from her house and is now facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain road ahead. She does not know if or when she will be able to return.

It is moments like this that separate good companies from great companies. More importantly, they remind us that Barry Company is more than a place where we come to work - we are a team, and we take care of one another.

Mariann takes care of our employees and our company every day. Now, we have an opportunity to rally around her and provide some of that same care and support when she needs it most.

Barry Company will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all monetary donations made to help Mariann through this difficult time. Cash, checks, gift cards, and other helpful donation items can be dropped off with Gary or me this week. No contribution is too small, and every act of generosity will make a difference

This is our opportunity to demonstrate what employee ownership and being part of the Barry Company family truly mean. When one of us is facing hardship, all of us stand beside them. Let’s come together and show Mariann that she is not facing this alone.
