Help Support Lisa’s Breast Cancer Journey

Hi Everyone,

We are coming together to support our dear mother and friend, Lisa. We all know life can change in an instant. For Lisa, that moment came recently with a diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer.

Her oncology team has put together an aggressive treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and immunotherapy. Because chemotherapy wipes out the immune system, her doctors gave her difficult, non-negotiable news: she cannot safely work in her daycare during treatment. Day cares are full of everyday germs that become life-threatening when undergoing chemo. Stepping away from her job—and the kids she loves feeding every day—has been heartbreaking.

If you know Lisa, you know her heart has always belonged to her family. As a single mother, she raised four incredible children with grit, grace, and endless love. Today, that love has multiplied into five grand-babies, with number six on the way! To Lisa, family is her entire world, and she affectionately calls her tight-knit circle "Lisa's Kids."

Now, "Lisa's Kids"—along with her village of friends—are rallying around her.

Lisa has spent her whole life being the rock and the provider. Facing a full year without income while fighting cancer is an overwhelming burden no one should carry alone. We want to completely strip away the financial fear of how she will cover her rent, utilities, and groceries over the next 12 months.

All funds raised will go directly to supporting Lisa so she can focus 100% of her energy on fighting this disease, healing, and getting back to her grand-babies.
