Rallying for Lenny
As many of you know, Lenny Udell is a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, friend, and proud Navy veteran. He now needs our help.
On Thursday, October 3, he left work early because of a terrible headache and neck ache. Things progressed from there, and within a few hours he was in the hospital. He was med flighted from Milford hospital to Umass medical center, where he is currently in the fight of his life. He was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, and then an MRI showed he suffered a series of strokes. Doctors have no way of knowing what, if any, long term damage Lenny has suffered, and cannot know until he wakes up. They are currently working their hardest to fight the meningitis, and will deal with the neurological aspects at a later date.
His family’s world has been turned upside down by this series of events. The emotional turmoil is unbearable, but the financial burden is also devastating. Lenny has worked his entire life to provide for his family, and has done a great job doing so. Without him able to work, the finances are certainly compromised. I am hoping that you all will consider donating to help this family ease the stress they are now coping with. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. Xoxo
