Hi everyone,

My name is Raylene Vaca, and I’m writing this on behalf of my dad, Gary Vaca, along with my siblings Gary Jr., Adrian, and Aubrey.

On November 21, 2025, our family’s life changed when my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Since then, our focus has been on supporting him through treatment and staying positive as he fights this difficult battle.

At first, we truly believed we would be able to manage the financial side of things ourselves. Unfortunately, the costs have become overwhelming. With medications, frequent doctor visits, co-pays, gas for appointments, and the need for special dietary changes, the expenses have added up quickly. His household has also gone from two incomes down to one, which has made things even more difficult.

Anyone who knows my dad knows what kind of person he is. Gary is funny, loving, and always the first person to help someone else in need. He has always been there for others without hesitation, and now we’re hoping to rally support for him during this difficult time.

The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, medications, travel to and from treatments, dietary needs, and minor car repairs so we can continue getting him to his appointments safely.
