This week, our fierce and adventurous friend CJ was involved in a serious dirt bike accident.

She was riding off-road with friends in Yucca Valley when she crashed. Her friends worked quickly to contact her loved ones and call for help, after which CJ was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

She underwent surgery and is now in recovery in the ICU. The good news: CT scans show no broken bones — which feels like a small miracle considering her substantial dismount. She’s resting, has spoken to the nurses, and is being closely monitored by an incredible medical team.

While we are choosing to keep the details of her internal injuries private at her family’s request, please know that her road to recovery will take time.

Between emergency transport, surgery, hospital care, follow-up appointments, and time away from work, the financial impact will be significant. We want CJ to focus fully on healing — not on medical bills or daily expenses.

CJ can handle bumps in the trail, she is one of the most creative and strong willed women we know, and once she has her heart set on something, there's not much that will stop her. We’re certain this recovery will be no different, but it’s no small hill climb.

So we’re rallying her crew.

She collects friends just as easily as she collects anything else in life that brings her joy, effortlessly and with wild abandon.
