Hi, my name is Taylor, and I’m raising funds for a family that means the world to me—the McMonagles. More specifically, for Brian Jr.

Brian is one of the most active, intelligent, and kind-hearted teens I know. We’ve grown incredibly close over the years—bonding over snowboarding, our love for music, and watching him grow up has been a joy. I see so much of myself in him and it's been an honor to take on the roll as Auntie.

A few days ago, Brian was rushed to the ER after experiencing severe leg and groin pain. What we all hoped was a minor strain turned out to be something far more serious: an extensive and life-threatening blood clot (DVT) stretching from his abdomen down through his leg. He’s currently hospitalized and undergoing intensive treatment, including surgery and ongoing interventions to dissolve the clot and prevent future complications.

As you can imagine, this medical crisis has brought overwhelming emotional and financial stress to the family. Brian's stepmom and (my best friend) is currently the only income in the home after a sudden lay off and is hourly, taking time off work without pay, while facing the sudden burden of extremely high healthcare costs, travel, food, and childcare expenses for their youngest.

I’m asking for your support to help ease their financial burden so they can focus on what matters most—getting Brian healthy and back to doing what he loves.
