Hello everyone! I’m Bree’s sister and I’ve put this together to try to rally us together to help Bree.

On 1/6/26 Bree was in a motor vehicle accident after a medical episode doctors are believing was a seizure. Thankfully when the medical episode and accident occurred she miraculously did not hit or injure anyone else. Bree broke both ankles and bones in her right foot and right toe. She hit her head/face on we’re assuming the airbags or steering wheel but thankfully just swelling and bruising occurred. She’s got some gnarly bruising on her chest, shoulders, legs and stomach from the seatbelt and airbags but we’ll take bruising over anything scarier.

Bree was taken to Bergan and was in patient for six days while healing and undergoing multiple diagnostic imaging and treatments to determine the state of her injuries and to help plan the next plan of care. Multiple CT scans, X-Rays, MRIs, EEG and EKG. The full work up with labs also. Our girl’s been poked and prodded like crazy the last week or so.

Currently Bree is completely wheelchair bound and unable to walk which makes all everyday life activities difficult. She is at Madonna Rehabilitation Center currently doing 3 ish hours of PT and OT a day to help get her independence back. Eventually she will be going home but unfortunately not able to work for a while as she continues to heal.

As most of you know Bree is a Registered Behavioral Technician and recently started her new position at Inner Autism Center here in Omaha. Thankfully her insurance had gone into effect the first of the year and she is able to get her initial medical treatment covered with a decent size deductible. Unfortunately seeing as she cannot work with her sweet clients while being in a wheelchair with her legs elevated and healing she has had to take a temporary break from work. She is excited to get healed as fast as possible and return to work as it is truly her passion working with her kiddos.

That being said she will unfortunately lose her health insurance at the end of the month and undoubtedly will have many months of therapy and other treatments with orthopedics and neurology. She is going to gain temporary state aid but that is never promised.

So the big ask is if you are so inclined to help our Bree in any way as she navigated through this financial hard time I know she would be forever grateful. She loves you all in the biggest way and I know will power through this wild ride!!
