Rallying for Barb

Hi Family + Friends - 

As many of you know, a little over a month ago our Mom, Barb Lassen, was diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer of unknown origin. This came as quite the shock to all of us as you can imagine. You have all been so gracious in asking what you can do for her and our family and how you can help. Many have asked us to start a Go Fund Me so here I am. As you can imagine, the costs of being sick can become overwhelming and the last thing our parents need is to worry and stress about is how to pay for necessary medications, nutrition, additional travel expenses for appointments and even their monthly bills during this difficult time. Our Dad, Paul Lassen, is also struggling with his eyesight and has had several emergency appointments in Burlington and some upcoming surgeries that we are praying helps correct some of his vision loss. This is not at all what they expected retirement to look like and it breaks our hearts.

This is isn't necessarily anything that our parents would resort to but on their behalf we are asking for some help to lighten their load. This is where you come in. Join us in showing Barb and Paul how much love and care is truly around them. They’ve got a VILLAGE of friends and family, who together, can make a difference to help this journey be a little less stressful financially. Our parents and our entire family are so appreciative of all of the love and support they have already received and continue to receive on a daily basis. Mom has a very long road ahead of her but she is a FIGHTER and a SURVIVOR. We thank you all in advance from the bottom of our hearts and please keep those prayers coming!!
