I come to you today with a mix of hope and worry in my heart, seeking your support and understanding during an incredibly challenging time. My furry best friend, Roscoe The Girl, is facing a formidable opponent: breast cancer. Roscoe isn't just any dog; she's my emotional support animal, my confidant, and the absolute light of my life. If you've been lucky enough to meet her, you know exactly what I mean. To know Roscoe is to love her, and she has touched the hearts of nearly everyone she's encountered.

Last week, during our routine visit to the vet, a series of lumps were discovered on Roscoe's chest, and the news hit me like a ton of bricks. The vet suspects breast cancer due to her age and other factors, and it has turned our world upside down. Roscoe has brought immeasurable joy, comfort, and unconditional love into my life. Now, it breaks my heart to consider the possibility of what our future could hold.

To give Roscoe the best shot at a healthy, happy life, we have scheduled surgery on June 5th to remove the tumors and perform a biopsy. We also need to conduct pre-surgery x-rays to ensure there are no other areas of concern. As you can imagine, these crucial procedures come at a significant cost, totaling approximately $2000.

Unfortunately, life has thrown me another curveball recently - I was laid off from my job back in April, and the financial strain has left me just barely scraping by, trying to make ends meet and cover the basic necessities, including rent. I've been tirelessly applying for over 200 jobs since then, hoping to find new opportunities. In the midst of this job search, the unexpected expenses for Roscoe's medical treatment are way beyond my means, and I find myself in a desperate situation.
