Our dear friend and extraordinary veterinarian, Wendy, has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has undergone surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, and we are now awaiting biopsy results to better understand what she is facing and what further treatment options are ahead. The next steps will include chemotherapy and radiation.

For those who may not know her, Wendy is one of the most wonderful human beings you will ever meet — a devoted animal lover who has spent her career giving the very best care to the pets who can't speak for themselves, and a person who will bend over backwards for anyone who needs her. She has been my trusted veterinarian and personal friend for nearly 20 years.
