Hi everyone! Let me start by saying if you know Tiff, you know she’s a very private person; however, we all need help sometimes. Tiff became very sick about 2 weeks ago with what appeared to be a simple respiratory infection. However, 3 emergency room trips later, we landed a bed inpatient at Wesley on December 21st. Earlier that day, Tiff began to lose the use of her hands and feet. They became numb, and she began dropping things. Her ability to walk was slowly going away, and she was requiring total assistance with mobility, eating, hygiene, etc. After a consult with the neurologist, they started a 5-day course of IVIG, and we are currently awaiting an MRI. This is day 9 in the hospital. She spent Christmas here, and now we are looking at possibly having her here through New Year's. As we await answers, Tiff is having significant anxiety about all the things she is missing out on, but missing this amount of work has really taken a toll on her income and ability to afford everything. She also is going to have a large amount of medical bills adding up. If anyone is willing and able to help her during this time, she would be so very thankful. She’s been blessed to have so many friends and family rally around, and on her behalf, I want to express her gratitude and say thank you to all of you.

UPDATE: 12/29/25-Spinal tap results are good; cultures pending. Tiff completed her IVIG infusions. Her MRI of head and spine just got done and we are waiting on results. She is starting to slowly improve but a nerve test will be needed in the near future. She is physically deconditioned and will need some time to build her strength. UPDATE-12/30/25: doctor said MRI did not show significant results. () Tiff is struggling with eating/drinking what she should. She passed her speech evaluation. Outpatient physical therapy will be needed and is getting set up. She will be out of work at least another week (exact amount of time off needed is not known at this time). Her stress and anxiety continue to grow as finances do so if you have a moment to just shoot her a text or a quick call to give her comfort/reassurance, that would be so helpful. A nerve conduction test has yet to be set up but hopefully today we will hear more. Thank you again for blessing Tiff with amazing support and love.
