Noah B. Bast passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the age of 55.Noah was a lifelong technology enthusiast who built a rewarding career in software development. He also shared his passion for coding as an adjunct professor at RIT, where he taught web design and programming in JavaScript and other languages.
In addition to his work in technology, Noah was an avid board and card game player. He loved hosting friends for game nights around his prized gaming table, where he was known for his strict (but good-natured) enforcement of rules-especially no bending cards and no food or drinks near the game pieces. He shared this passion with friends and family, and took special joy in introducing his nieces to new games, often surprising them with thoughtful picks to play together.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Tiffany Bast; daughter, Rachel Bast; parents, Dr. William and Joanne Bast; sisters, Sarah (Lee) Meccia and Mary Bast; and nieces, Riley and Eva Meccia.
