Hello, my name is Izzy, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for an amazing woman, mother, and coworker.
Last Tuesday evening, on her way home from work, Jennifer was hit by a drunk driver while waiting at a red light. Thankfully, she did not sustain any life-altering or serious injuries — especially remarkable considering she recently had foot surgery and is still recovering. We are incredibly grateful that she is okay.
However, this accident has created unexpected challenges. Most significantly, Jennifer now needs to purchase a new vehicle — a devastating setback.
A few years ago, Jennifer experienced a house fire that destroyed everything she owned. She rebuilt her life from the ground up without asking anyone for help. Using what little savings she had left, she purchased the car that was just totaled in this accident. She was so proud of that vehicle and took meticulous care of it.
Now, through no fault of her own, she is facing the heartbreaking loss of that car.
Jennifer is one of the most resilient, hardworking, and generous people I know. She is always the first to show up for others, and now she needs us to show up for her.
We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help Jennifer purchase a safe and reliable vehicle. These funds will go directly toward securing dependable transportation so she can regain her independence, maintain her daily routine, and continue being the incredible caregiver and devoted mother she is — not only to her daughter, but to all of her beloved furbabies as well.
Having reliable transportation will allow her to focus on healing and moving forward without the added stress and uncertainty this situation has brought.
If you’re able, please consider donating. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Every contribution and every share helps Jennifer get back on the road — literally and figuratively — and continue moving forward with strength and dignity.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
