Ben Julkowski just celebrated his 15th birthday.

Last Week, Ben and his family received life-altering news: Ben was diagnosed with AML leukemia.

Over the next six months, Ben is expected to be in and out of the hospital as he undergoes treatment. This journey will require tremendous strength—not only from Ben, but from his entire family.

Ben’s parents, Liz and Jeff, are navigating this unimaginable season while caring for their five children—Ben and his four siblings: Emma, Zoe, Grace, and AJ. Like many families facing serious illness, the Julkowskis are encountering significant unexpected costs: frequent travel to and from the hospital, meals on the road, parking, medical-related expenses, and the everyday costs of keeping their household running while Liz spends extended time by Ben’s side.
